Robert Half is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Corporate Tax Accountant for our esteemed client. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of Canadian tax laws and regulations, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with federal and provincial tax laws and regulations
Prepare and review corporate tax returns and conduct accurate tax reporting
Effectively perform tax planning activities and develop tax strategies
Analyze tax issues and provide innovative solutions
Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support
Research updated tax laws and regulations
Assist in the financial planning and budgeting processes
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field
At least 3 years experience as a corporate tax accountant, preferably with a focus on Canadian tax
Familiarity with tax software and MS Office
Strong analytical skills with ability to effectively problem solve
Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
