Robert Half International Technical Support Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina
Technical Support Analyst provides support of all hardware/software issues, does application installation, configuration, performs maintenance and support for information technology systems and services related to applications, infrastructure operations, networking and data management based on customers? requirements. Takes full responsibility for monitoring and coordinating support activities related to systems and service performance and their contribution to the business.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Research, resolve, and respond to server related customer issues and inquiries in a timely manner.
Document, log and track all external and internal communications and status information into service management system.
Work on application installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Provide immediate response to all escalated issues and continue to follow-up with client contact until ultimately resolved.
Participate in planning and coordinating installations, modifications, upgrades with team members.
Performs monitoring and analysis of systems and testing to ensure systems configuration, changes and condition are in accordance with requirements and policies.
Helps in other areas of focus as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor?s degree with 10+ years technical experience
Systems experience and technical knowledge related to network, server, application, software and data.
Demonstrated experience installing, upgrading and modifying systems.
Strong knowledge of system monitoring and maintenance.
Familiarity/Experience with healthcare data, and systems implementations in healthcare institutions
Familiarity with electronic health records standards for electronic information exchange, HL7
Familiarity/Experience with MS SQL Server and SQL query language
Familiarity/Experience with batch/shell scripting
Familiarity with Data Visualization or Reporting Services toolsets
Strong interpersonal and customer focus skills with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with others easily.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
High level of initiative and self-motivation
Quick to learn along with a willingness to learn
Ability to handle multiple tasks and working under pressure
Ability to work on additional Infrastructure projects above and beyond technical support
