We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a VP/Director of Finance to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be overseeing all financial planning and analysis (FP& A) and finance activities, as well as managing federal government contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Must have Government Contracts Experience. Overseeing the annual budget and financial reporting processes

• Conducting regular auditing to ensure financial compliance and accuracy

• Managing and improving budget processes within the organization

• Overseeing all financial planning and analysis activities

• Ensuring the company's compliance with federal government contracts

• Developing strategies for effective financial management and forecasting

• Coordinating with other departments to integrate financial data into strategic planning

• Implementing policies and procedures to maintain financial health and stability

• Managing the relationships with government contract entities.

Requirements • Proven experience in a senior financial management role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficient in annual budget planning and execution

• Demonstrable experience in auditing and financial reporting on an annual basis

• Comprehensive understanding of federal and government contracts

• Proficient in managing budget processes

• Strong strategic planning and business development skills

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities

• Superior communication and interpersonal skills

• Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification will be considered an advantage

• High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to confidentiality.
