Robert Half Audit Manager in Charlotte, Texas
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Audit Manager in the Financial Services industry. The position is based in San Antonio, Texas, and requires a blend of on-site and remote work. The role involves managing advanced analytics, data visualization, and internal audit processes.
Responsibilities:
• Leverage advanced analytics skills to evaluate and improve audit processes
• Utilize data visualization tools to present complex financial data in a clear and understandable manner
• Manage internal audit processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, including knowledge of SQL queries and operations such as INNER JOIN vs LEFT OUTER JOIN, WHERE vs HAVING, UNION vs UNION ALL
• Use CaseWare, ERP, and other accounting tools to facilitate audit engagements and manage accounting functions
• Apply knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly with an understanding of insurance procedures
• Monitor and improve audit programs to ensure they are effective and up-to-date
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring they accurately represent the company's financial status
• Act as a consultant within the company, providing expert advice on financial matters and audit processes. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Audit Program management.
• Proficient in using CaseWare for auditing purposes.
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning software.
• Strong understanding and experience with Accounting Functions.
• Proven track record of managing Audit Engagements.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Auditing practices.
• Solid understanding of Compliance regulations and standards in the financial services industry.
• Ability to interpret and analyze Financial Statements.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Proficient in SQL for data management and analysis.
• Strong skills in Data Visualization tools and techniques.
