Robert Half Data Analyst in Charlottesville, Virginia

Description We are in search of a Data Analyst to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia. This role will require a mix of working remotely and in the office. The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining reports, designing and managing ETL processes, utilizing SQL Server for data management, and contributing to the migration of data to cloud-based solutions. This role will also require collaboration with stakeholders to provide accurate and timely reports.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SSRS and Power BI reports to support data-driven decision-making

• Design and manage ETL processes for both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring efficient data integration and transformation

• Utilize SQL Server to manage and analyze data, supporting various reporting and analytical needs

• Contribute to the migration of data to Azure data warehousing solutions, ensuring a smooth transition and integration

• Create and maintain scripts in Python and PowerShell to automate data processes and enhance operational efficiency

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide accurate and meaningful reports

• Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to best practices and compliance standards

• Stay current with advancements in data analysis tools and technologies. Requirements • Proficient in CRM systems and their applications in data analysis

• Extensive knowledge of database systems and database objects

• Familiarity with DB2 Database and its functionalities

• Experience in AB Testing and its role in data analysis

• Proficient in using backup technologies for data protection and recovery

• Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and its application in data analysis

• Ability to create dashboards to visualize data effectively

• Advanced skills in data analysis and data interpretation

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field

• Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous

• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software
