Performing financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required
Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close processes
Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P& L forecasting
Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support
Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed
An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations
Produce and manage forecasting reports
Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources r Requirements - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Microsoft Excel experience preferred
Cash Flow Analysis experience desired
Deep understanding of month end closings
Financial analysis experience preferred
Background in financial analysis and planning
Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
1+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
Prior experience in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus
