Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Charlottesville, Virginia

Description We are on the hunt for a meticulous Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team based in Charlottesville, Virginia. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's bookkeeping, including processing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank and credit card reconciliations, and managing payroll. This role will require proficiency in QuickBooks and experience working with multiple clients.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage full charge bookkeeping duties, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently and promptly.

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations, verifying and reconciling transactions to maintain financial order.

• Process payroll for all employees, ensuring all payments are made on time and in accordance with company policies.

• Regularly reconcile credit card accounts to maintain financial accuracy.

• Utilize QuickBooks to streamline and automate bookkeeping processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.

• Use Microsoft Excel and other Office Suites to organize and present financial data effectively.

• Manage multiple clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring all their bookkeeping needs are met.

• Perform other accounting functions as necessary, ensuring the company's financial operations run smoothly.

• Leverage skills in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services to enhance bookkeeping processes and improve the company's financial health. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook

• Demonstrable knowledge in Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Proficiency in QuickBooks
