Robert Half is excited to partner with a local pediatric medical practice to find a service-oriented, adaptable, and highly skilled Interim Practice Manager. This important role will ensure smooth operations while covering an upcoming medical leave of absence, making a direct impact on both staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities
As the Interim Practice Manager, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing daily practice operations and fostering a smooth, efficient, and caring environment:
Team Leadership & Support:
- Supervise medical assistants and patient service representatives, providing support to ensure workflows are optimized and any concerns are addressed promptly.
Provider Engagement:
- Partner with medical providers across the practice, maintaining visibility and open lines of communication. Ensure providers have everything they need, troubleshoot issues, and drive solutions.
Collaboration & Feedback:
- Schedule and lead weekly team touchpoints to discuss what’s working, identify opportunities for improvement, and brainstorm collaborative solutions.
Administrative Support:
- Manage supply orders for two departments and step in to assist at the front desk during peak periods or staffing gaps.

Healthcare Administration Expertise: Proven experience in managing daily operations of a medical practice – pediatric experience is a BIG plus!
EMR Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Athena or similar electronic medical record systems is required.
Service-Oriented Mindset: A genuine dedication to solving problems, improving workflows, and fostering a positive environment for employees and providers.
Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with diverse teams, adjust communication tactics as necessary, and build relationships with ease.
Detail-Oriented Approach: Strong organizational skills to keep track of supplies, appointments, and administrative tasks.
