Description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Leasing Assistant for our large apartment community. The Leasing Assistant will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants throughout the leasing process, showcasing available apartments, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the administrative functions of the leasing office. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, have a strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist prospective tenants by showcasing available apartments, providing detailed information about the community, amenities, and lease terms.
Conduct tours of the property, highlighting the features and benefits of each unit to potential residents.
Respond to inquiries from prospective residents via phone, email, or in-person, providing accurate and timely information.
Collect and process rental applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and in compliance with company policies.
Coordinate and schedule lease signings, ensuring all required paperwork and payments are obtained.
Support the leasing office with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
Assist in organizing and executing marketing initiatives to attract prospective tenants, including outreach to local businesses, online advertising, and hosting community events.
Maintain a strong knowledge of the local rental market and competitors to effectively communicate the value and advantages of our community.
Address resident concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of resident satisfaction.
Collaborate with the property management team to achieve occupancy goals and maintain resident retention rates.
Uphold fair housing practices and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Ability to walk and climb stairs to showcase apartments and conduct property tours.
Experience in customer service or a similar role, with a strong passion for working with people and providing exceptional service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with prospective and current residents.
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Outgoing and enthusiastic personality, with a genuine desire to help others find their ideal living space.
Proficiency in using standard office software and technology, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and property management software.
Availability to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Previous experience in leasing or property management is a huge plus, demonstrating familiarity with leasing processes and industry best practices.
