Your responsibilities in this role:
• Handling inbound and outbound medical collections calls
• Working with insurance organizations for claims and balances due and document account changes within the practice management system
• Maintaining and updating patient accounts accordingly
• Insurance Follow-up: Medicare, Medicaid
• Claims Denials and Follow-up
Requirements
1+ years of experience in medical claims processing or medical billing
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and medical billing software
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing codes
Experience with coordination of benefits
Familiarity with Medicare claims
