Robert Half Medical Insurance Follow up Specialist in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Description

Your responsibilities in this role:

• Handling inbound and outbound medical collections calls

• Working with insurance organizations for claims and balances due and document account changes within the practice management system

• Maintaining and updating patient accounts accordingly

• Insurance Follow-up: Medicare, Medicaid

• Claims Denials and Follow-up

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in medical claims processing or medical billing

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and medical billing software

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing codes

  • Experience with coordination of benefits

  • Familiarity with Medicare claims
