Robert Half Accounts Receivable Analyst in Chelmsford, Massachusetts

Description We are looking to bring on board an Accounts Receivable Analyst in the Wholesale Distribution industry. Based in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, this role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The position involves a blend of on-site and remote work, with initial training taking place in the office.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing and managing deductions in a timely and accurate manner

• Retrieving and downloading documents from banking portals

• Creating and maintaining Excel workbooks for every new deduction and forwarding them to the relevant parties

• Utilizing ISS financial software for various accounting tasks

• Ensuring accurate customer credit records are maintained

• Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues effectively

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action as required

• Adapting quickly to new software implementations and overcoming any challenges that may arise

• Demonstrating proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications, with a particular emphasis on Excel.

Please note that this role requires a drug test before commencement of duties. All necessary equipment for the role will be provided. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Solid understanding and experience with Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Check Processing procedures

• Ability to handle Deductions efficiently

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in Wholesale Distribution

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
