Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Chelsea, Michigan
Description
Our manufacturing client is seeking to hire a Sr. Financial Analyst Consultant for a long-term engagement. This onsite position is located in Chelsea, Michigan and will report directly to the President.
Capable of communicating updates to senior management, analyzing financial results, and distilling/synthesizing key issues in the course of advancing existing management reporting
Develop business, operational, and financial processes to be repeatable and understandable for all necessary teams
Provide assistance in ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
Manage positive relationships with key business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership
Track financial results with greater accuracy and discretion by working with Operating and Accounting to drive improved management reporting
Analyze financial results, distill/synthesize key trends, assess current and future business risks, and communicate critical updates to senior leadership all in the course of preparing monthly and quarterly management reports
Collaborate with Functional leads to execute management reporting, accounting and compliance advisement, and coordinate alignment of operational initiatives
Optimize business performance by identifying and executing financial analysis
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
Skills in critical thinking and the ability to operate effectively with management
CPA or MBA preferred
Prior experience with process reengineering and optimization
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented
Proficiency in Ad Hoc Reporting
Complex Financial Models experience desired
Board reporting experience
Expertise in Analytical Skills
Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint
Finance or Business BA/BS degree or one in a related field required
5+ years experience in operations finance necessary
