NJ Defense Litigation Associate (Hybrid) – Cherry Hill

Are you an experienced attorney seeking a dynamic opportunity in defense litigation? Our client, an AV-rated regional defense litigation firm, is actively seeking an Associate to join their esteemed team in their office in Cherry Hill, New Jersey in a full-time permanent lawyer role. This firm offers a collaborative environment, professional growth opportunities, and a hybrid/remote work option (2-3 days/week remote) to provide flexibility and work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in active litigation practice spanning various areas including general liability, professional liability, products liability, construction, human services, employment, and workers’ compensation.

• Demonstrate strong work ethic, meeting deadlines and reporting requirements efficiently.

• Conduct thorough legal research, exhibit impeccable writing skills, and contribute effectively within a team-oriented environment.

• Analyze and summarize legal documents

• Supporting attorneys and staff within the practice groups department

• Communicate with clients and the counsel for the other side

• Legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor / Juris Doctorate (J.D. / JD) degree from an ABA accredited law school.

• Admittance to the New Jersey Bar in good standing (Pennsylvania PA Bar a plus)

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation.

• Demeanor to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills
