Description

We are offering a role in the retail industry, located in CHESAPEAKE, Virginia, United States, for an Administrative Coordinator. This role involves coordinating maintenance and repair issues for stores, handling routine inquiries for basic facility needs, and developing relationships with vendors. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all maintenance and repair issues for stores in assigned states.

• Respond to/manage building emergencies such as fires, floods, power outages, weather-related hazards or alerts, liquid spills, plumbing issues, or incident clean up.

• Assist department managers with daily facility changes or needs as requested.

• Handle routine inquiries on basic facility needs; field phone calls/emails for maintenance requests.

• Prioritize requests and maintain an accurate database of call history information for stores within assigned states using internal Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• Develop relationships with vendors to ensure the best pricing and service to the stores.

• Utilize administrative assistance skills to manage and coordinate tasks.

• Use property management skills to handle maintenance and repair issues.

• Utilize CRM and Microsoft Excel to maintain accurate records and manage customer interactions.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Administrative Coordinator role or similar position within the retail industry.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with ability to create complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and formulas.

• Proven experience with CRM software for tracking customer interactions and data.

• Prior experience in property management is highly desirable.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

• Proven track record of providing exceptional administrative support.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
