We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the high tech engineering industry located in CHESAPEAKE, Virginia, United States. We are seeking a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to aid in the smooth operation of our information systems. In this role, you will engage in data migration, maintain the confidentiality of information, and ensure the accuracy of data entries, all in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Migrate data from the current ERP system to the Deltek Costpoint ERP system.

• Enter, update, and retrieve data in the company system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as per company guidelines.

• Maintain customer service excellence when interacting with clients.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data processing and analysis.

• Leverage skills in Costpoint - Deltek for efficient data management.

• Research and verify data to maintain accurate records.

• Ensure the confidentiality of all data handled.

• Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating dependability and focus.

Requirements

• Possess a strong grasp of Customer Service principles and practices

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks with a high level of accuracy

• Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel

• Must be Familiar with Costpoint - Deltek software

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high tech engineering environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to changes in technology.
