Robert Half Facilities Coordinator in Chesapeake, Virginia

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator in the retail industry based in Chesapeake, Virginia. The role involves handling facilities requests for all our stores, collaborating with various departments, and utilizing computer literacy in programs such as OfficeTrax and MS Suite.

Responsibilities:

• Handle facilities requests across all stores including issues related to locks, glass, and plumbing.

• Leverage computer literacy to efficiently use programs such as OfficeTrax and MS Suite.

• Collaborate with all departments and review leases to determine if issues are the landlord or tenant's responsibility.

• Utilize excellent phone skills to liaise with landlords and manage high volume of calls.

• Utilize experience in facility coordination or a related role to manage communication between facility managers and internal/external customers.

• Schedule and coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and service requests.

• Employ strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a high volume of tasks.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.

• Demonstrate a detail-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality service.

• Use skills in Microsoft Excel, Answering Inbound Calls, Administrative Assistance, and Facilities Coordination to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail industry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with answering inbound calls in a professional manner

• Proven track record of providing administrative assistance

• Experience in facilities coordination, ensuring smooth running of physical operations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• High level of organization and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet

• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in relevant fields would be a plus.
