Oversight of medical and affiliated staff reappointment and Department employees who conduct this work in adherence to Medical Staff Bylaws requirements
Train and educate re-appointment staff
Oversees initial applications for new physicians joining the Staff
Implement re-appointment application and eventual deployment across all health system hospitals; identify, educate, and implement processes to streamline re-appointments
Evaluate re-appointment and, potentially, other Department wide processes to identify potential opportunities for quality improvement to increase efficiencies across health system (paperless credentialing, use of software system and leverage opportunities for automation
The ideal Credentialing Supervisor/Manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.
Other requirements for the Credentialing Supervisor/Manager position include and are not limited to:
2+ years of Medical Staff credentialing
Experience with Medical Staff Bylaw interpretation
CPMSM, CPCS or duel certification
