Description
As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of our systems, supporting both IT and operational technology (OT) environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
Perform DCS (Distributed Control System) upgrades and provide OT (Operational Technology) network support.
Manage and optimize SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) systems.
Conduct security monitoring, and endpoint management, and implement network access control (NAC) policies.
Utilize IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion Prevention System) and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools for security threat analysis.
Perform vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with security standards.
Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to optimize performance and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance network operations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Professional certifications include CCNA/CCNP, CISSP/CISM, and CompTIA Security+/Network+.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.
Proven experience with DCS upgrades and OT network support.
Expertise in managing Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
Proficient in SAN/NAS management and optimization.
Strong knowledge of network security principles including security monitoring, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and NAC.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
