Robert Half Financial Analyst in Chesterfield, Michigan
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Chesterfield, Michigan. This role entails developing and maintaining financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, as well as collaborating with operational teams to understand business drivers and provide actionable insights. You will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within the finance industry.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Conduct analysis of historical data and industry trends to create accurate financial projections.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads.
• Monitor actual performance against budget, identifying key drivers of variance.
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand business drivers and provide actionable insights.
• Participate in cross-functional projects, evaluating financial impact and return on investment.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Conduct special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Assist on finance & accounting projects that come up.
• Assist with various month & year end reconciliations. Requirements
Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a related field.
Bachelor's degree Accounting/ Finance
Advanced Excel
Proficient in Financial Modeling
