Robert Half Systems Analyst in Chesterfield, Missouri

Description We are seeking a Systems Analyst based in Chesterfield, Missouri. In this role, you will focus primarily on the IBM i platform and the successful integration and optimization of Infor XA ERP software. This position has a strong emphasis on the business aspect, including company IT structure, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and security of our IBM i environment and collaborating with other departments to align IT strategies with business objectives. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the company’s data and systems.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in relevant technology, and apply relevant knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.

• Develop business case justifications for IT spending initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to finance, sales, operations, and supply chain to identify technology needs, prioritize initiatives, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

• Oversee IT related vendor relationship and assist with contracts, ensuring effective partnerships and utilization.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

• Use skills including Database, DB2 Database, EO/IR systems, IBM, Microsoft, AB Testing, Business Requirement Document, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deployments. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency with Database and DB2 Database

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Experience with IBM and Microsoft technologies

• Proven track record with AB Testing

• Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents

• Knowledge of Computer Hardware

• Experience in Configuration Management

• Proficiency in managing and executing Deployments

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
