Robert Half International Assistant Property Manager/Marketing in CHICAGO, Illinois


Amazing opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager/Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have no less than 4+ years of Commercial Real Estate experience. This role will work with the General Manager in the management of the property. Duties range day to day but generally include fully developing, planning, implementing and managing all aspects of the marketing, advertising, public relations, tenant relations and communication programs. Responsibilities: Acts as contact with ownership representatives to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepares and delivers timely, accurate and complete reports. Prepares portions of the monthly financial reports, budget, oversee monthly rent statements and cash application or rent payments. Regularly inspect tenant space, common areas, base building areas and grounds to ensure high level of maintenance, regular interface with internal staff and vendors to maintain highest standards. Participate in the performance oversight of all service contractors performing building services. Recommend and/or authorize vendor contracts as appropriate.Oversee tenant requests for work orders, to include obtaining estimates, providing proposals, submitting work orders, and invoicing tenants. Coordinate tenant events, Fire/Life Safety procedures, and move-in's/move-out's. Ensure all property files are prepared and maintained in orderly and logical manner, including leases and contracts. Must be creative and have the ability to work with and provide direction to public relations and marketing team. Demonstrate regular use of judgement and discretion to solve problems and/or resolve issues, serve as a tenant liaison in the building, and maintain an elevated level of tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will Commercial Real Estate experience. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline. This position requires strong time management and communication skills, as well as a positive attitude and a client-oriented work ethic. We are looking for someone who can work as a team member to help the company grow. Working knowledge and understanding of lease terms, operating costs, and budgeting. Basic understanding of computer software programs and base building systems. Microsoft Word and Excel required. Yardi, MRI, and Argus a plus. Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service. The qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented. This is a Direct Hire Permanent position.
