Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in Chicago, Illinois. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, engaging in various legal activities in the telecom industry. This role involves a focus on commercial litigation with a preferred niche in bankruptcy.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in extensive legal research and analysis to support case proceedings

• Handle commercial litigation cases and provide strategic advice to clients

• Use legal software such as LexisNexis and case management systems for efficient case handling

• Prepare and present strong legal arguments in court

• Manage claims administration and handle customer complaints professionally

• Conduct legal briefing and documentations with precision and clarity

• Specialize in bankruptcy procedures and laws to provide expert advice

• Utilize 3M methodologies to streamline workflow and improve productivity

• Ensure compliance with all legal norms and regulations in the telecom industry. Requirements • Possession of a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

• Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

• Experience in commercial litigation and bankruptcy law is essential

• Proficiency in using legal software such as LexisNexis and Case Management Software

• Familiarity with 3M management systems

• Proven track record in claim administration and complaint handling

• Strong ability to draft and review legal documents

• Demonstrated skills in briefing and presenting cases

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure

• High level of professional ethics and integrity

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
