Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in the heart of Chicago, Illinois. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in reviewing and negotiating various IT contracts, including software licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and service agreements. In addition, the role will involve dealing with data protection and privacy agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Review and redline non-disclosure agreements and employment contracts

• Assist in the negotiation of software licensing agreements and vendor contracts

• Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy agreements

• Work closely with the procurement head, providing necessary legal support

• Oversee the team and paralegal working on contracts

• Offer expertise in dealing with hardware, GPU, and AI contracts

• Play a vital role in reviewing, redlining, and negotiating commercial contracts

• Utilize skills in SAAS - Software As A Service and Contract Negotiation to ensure all agreements are beneficial and legally sound. Requirements • Possession of a valid license to practice law

• Proven experience as an Attorney/Lawyer in a reputable law firm or corporate environment

• Proficiency in handling Commercial Contracts

• Expertise in SAAS - Software As A Service legal aspects

• Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)

• Demonstrated ability in Contract Negotiation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

• Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest legal trends and regulations
