The Chicago office is seeking a Microsoft 365 Architect to join our growing team.

Senior Managers can clearly articulate the value drivers of our business, and are responsible for developing opportunities both at existing clients and new clients. Senior Managers are responsible for job economics and for ensuring seamless project management. Senior Managers are developing future contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?
Must possess a deep technical and architectural understanding of Office 365 features and functionalities
Expert knowledge of software development processes and best practices utilizing the Microsoft technology stack.
Must have hands-on experience and capabilities for creating the design, managing a development team, and deploying customized M365/SharePoint solutions.
Experience with Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), SAML, claims, web Single Sign-on (SSO), OAuth, and related authentication technologies.
Advanced knowledge of Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Social Networking, Enterprise Content Management, and/or Business Process and Forms.
Experience in designing, developing, and testing client applications as part of the software development cycle.
Ability to develop rapid prototypes and proof of concepts for client evaluation.
Experience with .NET Framework / C# / SharePoint Server Side Object Model.
Experience of HTML5, CSS, JQuery, and PowerShell.
Experience using cloud platforms such as Azure and the Microsoft M365 / Cloud Technology platform (SharePoint, Exchange, Skype, Yammer, Video Portal)
Web development experience using ASP.NET Web Forms and/or ASP.NET MVC.
Experience installing, configuring, and tuning SQL Server to support SharePoint
Experience in application lifecycle management systems such as Team Foundation Server.
Proven ability to identify, recommend, and implement third party solutions, plug-ins, and custom web parts. Specifically, migration tools (e.g. Metalogix, Sharegate) and 3rd party workflow packages (e.g. Nintex, K2).
Knowledge in leveraging Microsoft’s suite of technologies for providing Business Intelligence solutions such as Power BI, Information Protection, Microsoft SQL Server, Analysis Services, Integration Services, and Reporting Services.
Experiencer with .NET based Web CMS platforms (Sitecore, Kentico, etc.)
Experience with server installation, deployment models, performance tuning, and enterprise scalability.
Demonstrated ability to stay current with Application Architecture best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms, architectural and systems engineering industry trends.
Experience working with 3rd party migration tools, including, but not limited to Metalogix, AvePoint, ShareGate, etc.
High Availability and Disaster Recovery principles, patterns and usage
Experience applying Agile/lean methodologies for M365/SharePoint implementations
Mobile experience is a plus
Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:
5+ years in a related field required; preferably in professional services and/or industry
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in relevant academic area or equivalent relevant work experience
Experience working for a technology consulting firm or software product company is strongly preferred
