Robert Half Claim Resolution Specialist-Bilingual English/Spanish in Chicago, Illinois

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Claim Resolution Specialist. The role is situated in Chicago, Illinois, and involves providing top-notch customer service in a high-volume contact center environment. As a Claim Resolution Specialist, you will be resolving customer inquiries and escalations, ensuring that all interactions are documented accurately and efficiently. The role is primarily in the insurance industry and requires fluency in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer escalations via phone calls, emails, and text chats, providing accurate information in a timely manner.

• Conduct thorough research and analysis to resolve customer requests, inquiries and concerns.

• Maintain high levels of productivity, service and quality standards.

• Demonstrate the ability to make appropriate decisions and solve problems while providing a pleasant phone experience for the caller.

• Navigate multiple system applications effectively to ensure efficient customer service.

• Take ownership and accountability in handling customer requests professionally.

• Learn and comply with corporate policies, regulatory standards, business processes and procedures.

• Provide status updates and other necessary information to customers regarding their Voluntary Benefits claims.

• Work collaboratively with team members to streamline processes and improve customer experience.

• Handle additional tasks and projects as assigned by the team lead or manager. Requirements • Proficiency in both English and Spanish languages is required

• Excellent customer service skills and prior experience in a customer-facing role

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Familiarity with Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently

• Experience with email correspondence in a professional setting

• Knowledge of claim administration and resolution procedures

• Understanding of policy, practices, and benefit functions

• Ability to research and gather information effectively

• Experience with cloud technologies and web apps

• Training experience or ability to train others

• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with partners and maintain client relations

• Ability to close claims effectively and in a timely manner

• High level of productivity and ability to manage time effectively

• Understanding of Microsoft's 'About Time' software is considered an asset.
