Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the non-profit industry for a Collections Specialist based in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves managing and monitoring customer accounts, ensuring the resolution of customer inquiries, and processing customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with individuals or businesses with outstanding debts through various communication channels

• Establish and negotiate payment plans that are feasible for customers and acceptable for the organization

• Accurately maintain records of all transactions and communications with debtors

• Regularly prepare reports on the status of collections and outstanding debts

• Comply with relevant laws and regulations in all collection activities

• Utilize accounting software systems and CRM to manage and track customer accounts

• Handle inbound calls, answering customer inquiries promptly and professionally

• Administer billing functions and claim administration

• Operate Microsoft Office Suites and QuickBooks for various administrative tasks

• Manage accounts receivable and collection processes effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Accurint

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficient in CRM

• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Answering Inbound Calls

• Understanding of Billing Functions

• Knowledge of Claim Administration

• Experience with Collection Processes

• Familiarity with Export - Import Documents

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience in QuickBooks
