Robert Half Commercial Real Estate Attorney in Chicago, Illinois
Robert Half Direct is partnering with a downtown law firm seeking a full-time associate attorney with experience in commercial real estate, bank loan and financing documentation. Experience in commercial litigation is a big plus. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with a law firm or in-house legal department.
Handle all aspects of commercial loan and real estate transactions
Draft and review sophisticated loan documentation and security agreements
Review and manage bank-related work and loan documentation
Communicate effectively with a broad range of clients
Conduct legal research and formulate legal strategies
Manage written and oral discovery
5+ years of general practice focused on commercial litigation, in state and federal court, and real estate related transactions
Licensed to practice law in Illinois
Strong commercial transactional skills, including commercial real estate, contract review and drafting, and loan documentation
Commercial litigation skills and substantive courtroom experience also preferred
Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
