Description

We are offering a role for a dedicated Customer Service Representative based in Chicago, Illinois. This role is within the education sector and will be conducted remotely. The main function of this role is to provide vital support to students by facilitating their understanding of the financial aid process. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities:

• Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to registered students to assist with the financial aid application process.

• Provide detailed information on available financial aid options, including eligibility criteria and application procedures.

• Guide students through the step-by-step completion of financial aid forms and required documentation.

• Address student inquiries, concerns, and issues related to financial aid in a courteous and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and follow-ups in the institution’s CRM system.

• Collaborate with the financial aid department to resolve complex student cases and ensure timely assistance.

• Stay updated on the latest financial aid policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Achieve and exceed individual performance metrics, including call volume, call quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Utilize skills in 'Student Financial Aid' and 'Inbound Outbound Calls' for effective communication and problem-solving.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role

• Proficiency in managing inbound and outbound calls is essential

• Knowledge of Student Financial Aid is required

• Must possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers

• Ability to handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner

• Must have a strong understanding of the company's customer service policies and procedures

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers

• Proficiency in using computer software including Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management software

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, a higher degree in a relevant field is preferred

• Must be able to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals and objectives

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
