Description
We are looking to fill a part-time (20 hours per week) Digital Asset Management Librarian on a contract basis. As our client's DAM Librarian, you will have the opportunity to work with various departments and individuals, including designers and marketing content teams, to ensure accuracy and completeness of all our digital assets.
Responsibilities:
Review and ensure accuracy of all metadata for user uploads (including from agency partners) in client's Marketing set-up.
Coordinate asset ingestion from vendors.
Conduct regular audits of metadata and branding, collaborating with various teams to develop a plan for outdated images (expire, retouch, reshoot).
Populate metadata including naming conventions, product names, SKU, and part numbers, proactively spotting and addressing errors.
Assist in documenting best practices and guidelines for the DAM system.
Provide user support, troubleshooting and address enhancement needs.
Work closely with each designer to understand how assets are used and searched for optimal results.
Requirements
Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of professional DAM experience.
Strong knowledge and experience working with a variety of DAM systems, Aprimo experience highly preferred.
Mastery of metadata standards, databases, and rights management.
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with impeccable attention to detail.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and extensive knowledge of digital/graphic file formats.
Convincing organizational and project management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
