Robert Half Data Analyst in Chicago, Illinois
Description We are offering a contract-to-permanent position for a Data Analyst in the non-profit industry, located in Chicago, Illinois. The Data Analyst will focus on data management, analytics, and visualization, providing meaningful insights from complex data sets.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the integrity and security of database systems through implementation and maintenance.
• Generate ongoing reports through the collection, interpretation, and analysis of data.
• Optimize statistical efficiency and quality by developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies.
• Create dashboards, visual reports, and tools for data visualization to present data in a manner that is understandable to non-technical audiences.
• Identify opportunities for process and policy improvements by collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
• Prioritize business and information needs by working with management.
• Use data visualization tools and techniques to present complex data in a direct, concise, and compelling manner.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Identify patterns and trends in data sets, providing insights to drive decision-making. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role within a non-profit organization.
• Proficient in Data Mining Techniques to extract relevant information for business decisions.
• Skilled in Data Visualization to present data in a clear, concise manner.
• Experience with Informatica software for data integration.
• Knowledge of Maps API for location-based data analysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft tools and applications, particularly in relation to data analysis and management.
• Demonstrated experience in AB Testing to optimize data-driven strategies.
• Strong understanding of Analytics and its application in data analysis.
• Proven ability in employing Business Intelligence (BI) tools for strategic planning.
• Experience in drafting Business Requirement Documents, outlining the needs and expectations of business projects.
• Ability to create dynamic Dashboards for real-time data tracking and analysis.
