Description We are seeking a Data/Information Architect to join our team, based in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and enhancement of the Azure Databricks Unity Catalog platform, ensuring it aligns with industry standards. This is a long-term contract role and requires top-notch communication skills, as you will be working closely with both our internal team and external clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of Unity Catalog on the Azure Databricks platform

• Responsible for migrating from Hive Metastore to Unity Catalog

• Enhance the new platform according to industry standards

• Process and manage customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Collaborate with both business and IT personnel within the team and client's team

• Utilize skills in Cloud Technologies, DB2 Database, Erwin Data, Informatica, MDM Technologies, Agile Scrum, Analytics, AWS Technologies, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document, and Azure Databricks

• Ensure data governance within all processes and systems. Requirements

• Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is necessary for this role.

• Familiarity with DB2 Database systems.

• Proficient in using Erwin Data modeling tools.

• Extensive experience with Informatica.

• Knowledge of MDM Technologies is required.

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.

• Proficiency in data Analytics.

• Familiarity with AWS Technologies.

• Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) is required.

• Ability to create a Business Requirement Document.

• Experience with Azure Databricks is desirable.

• Knowledge of Data Governance principles.
