Description
We are a leading company in the technology sector seeking a dedicated Contract Desktop Support Analyst for our valued client in Chicago! As a prominent tech company, we provide exceptional solutions for numerous established companies for their diverse needs in the information technology sector. Responsibilities:
Support end users in hardware and software (Windows 11) during a break/fix situation.
Skillfully handle and resolve desktop problems and service requests such as software installations, user account setup, etc.
Troubleshoot hardware issues of computers and other technology peripherals such as printers, scanners and VPN systems.
Utilize IT ticketing system to maintain a comprehensive record of all user issues to ensure timely resolution.
Participate in special projects relating to IT enhancements and innovations.
Co-ordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
Adhere to all standards for security & compliance.
Provide outstanding customer service on a regular consistent basis.
Requirements
Qualification:
Minimum of 1-3 years in Desktop or IT Helpdesk roles.
Extensive hands-on technical support experience with Windows 11.
Solid understanding of IT supported technologies, and a broad knowledge of hardware and software systems.
Must have excellent problem-solving abilities for desktop and network issues.
Proven troubleshooting skills within a fast-paced environment.
Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
Added Advantage:
Professional certification like CompTIA A+, N+
Experience in supporting VPN and remote connection tools.
