Description
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our client's team.! As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and applications. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business requirements and drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Drive cloud initiatives to streamline infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
Monitor the performance and reliability of automation infrastructure, frameworks, and tools
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Cloud infrastructure and services
Evaluate and analyze data on performance/capacity and report on key measurements
Ensure industry standards are followed for security protocols
Identify opportunities to drive cost of cloud infrastructure down
Consult and coordinate with various internal departments, external or business partners, providers and business entities as a representative of the areas of responsibility
Perform product evaluation, product installation, and product upgrade efforts
Recommend hardware and sizing and implement/install hardware and software products, as well as new standards and procedures
Review system, technical and internal customer documentation for accurate content
Explain and train as subject matter expert on technical concepts of cloud infrastructure and DevOps
Perform peer reviews for technical documentation
Review current and emerging information technology and trends, provide short- and long-term roadmaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
Proficiency in Ansible for IT automation
Experience with Azure DevOps for version control and code deployment
Strong understanding of API management for proper integration of applications
Experience with Azure API Management to secure, protect and manage APIs
Expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration
Knowledge of containerization for efficient application deployment and scaling.
