Summary:

Fund Accountant will be responsible for providing accounting services including preparation and processing of transactions and preparation of financial statement supporting schedules and work papers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accurate and timely reporting across private equity funds, including: monthly performance estimates, close packages/NAV, allocations, waterfalls and fund returns.

• Assist in oversight for designated fund and special purposed financial records prepared by various 3rd party administrators.

• Support in reconciliation of monthly servicer remittance reporting.

• Prepare management fee calculations.

• Prepare various ad-hoc projects and analyses as requested.

• Assist with SEC or other regulatory compliance as required.

• Prepare cash transfer/wire instructions for trade settlement and ad hoc wires.

• Work on daily reconciliations including cash transaction and loan balance tie outs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance

• 1 – 3 years accounting/finance experience

• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills

• Experience designing and implementing new policies and procedures

• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus

• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives

• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
