Description
Our client is searching for a customer-focused individual to join their growing IT department. In this role, you'll be the first line of defense for their users, providing technical support and troubleshooting a wide range of issues. You'll be the friendly voice on the other end of the phone, email, or chat, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for everyone.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of user-reported technical problems (software, hardware, network connectivity).
Provide clear and concise technical support to internal users via phone, email, and chat.
Document technical issues and resolutions to ensure knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
Research and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
Stay up to date on company technology and procedures.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of basic computer hardware and software concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with a focus on active listening and clear explanations.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things.
