Where We Need You:

We are looking for a Learning Manager focused on manag ing our t echnical skill-building programs and certifications to join our Global Learning and Development team in any of our Protiviti offices.

You can make an impact by developing, managing, and delivering multiple learning programs from start to finish, which provide immediate value to our consulting professionals and support our organization’s strategic goals. This role will manage technical skill-building programs and certifications for our practice professionals. Examples of technical skill-building and certification programs include industry training, p roject m anagement training, c loud c ertification training such as Azure and AWS, and Internal Audit and Financial Advisory certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) just to name a few.

What You Will Do :

  • Pl a n and execute training events of all sizes- in-person and live virtual. Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to:

  • Identify learning needs, target audience, ideal locations, and dates

  • Select and prepare internal facilitators and support staff

  • Send timely and effective participant communications

  • Plan impactful events outside of the classroom, such as executive receptions, group dinners, etc.

  • Collect and analyze participant feedback, making updates to content as needed

  • Work with stakeholders to complete learning needs assessments

  • Identify and build relationships with learning and certification vendors.

  • Manage library of test preparation materials.

  • Practice creative problem solving, delegation, communication and leadership skills to drive projects to completion. Whether it be organizing a large training event on short notice due to a schedule change, or taking on a side project like creating a brand new eLearning from scratch that will be rolled out firmwide in a month, be adaptable and have a healthy relationship with urgency.

  • Understand that it’s not just important to be the expert on the content, but also to provide an exceptional development and culture-building experience for our participants, facilitators, and support staff.

  • Keep your eyes and ears open to identify opportunities, big or small, to enhance our learning portfolio and deliver greater value to our organization. Go the extra mil e to communicate your ideas and your plan for how to implement them.

  • Cultivate relationships across all levels and departments of the organization, and practice excellent communication skills to keep stakeholders informed of the latest L&D developments and ensure we are continuing to support their goals.

  • Keep up to date with the “latest and greatest” in learning trends, platforms/technologies, environments (virtual or physical), etc. and think innovatively on how we may be able to adopt these as appropriate.

  • While travel expectations may not be a factor in the short-term, you may be required to travel 50% or more in the long-term.

  • You are happy to take on any task, whether large or small, but are also a skilled delegator when needed .

  • You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint .

  • You are familiar with various l earning m anagement s ystems, web conferencing platforms, course authoring tools, and/or other learning technologies, and are able to pick up new technologies quickly .

  • You like to learn, you are curious, and have a passion for people development .

    Your Educational and Professional Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree .

  • 7 + years of previous experience in learning and development. Bonus points for having experience in the Consulting/Professional Services industry.
