What You Can Expect:

We are looking for a Learning Technology Specialist to join our Global Learning & Development (L&D) team.

Protiviti’s Global L&D team provides exceptional development opportunities for our people beginning with each individual’s first day on the job and continuing throughout their career. We focus on innovation in learning and work with business leaders to support growth and organizational development and transformation goals.

You will make an impact by supporting the configuration and management of Learning technologies and platforms at Protiviti. Our learning technology platform includes learning management systems, learning experience platforms, learning content platforms, technologies used in in the classroom, collaboration technologies, and virtual reality tools.

The Learning Technology Specialist assists with learning technology projects, supports team members in setting up, configuring and managing learning technologies, and participates in the process of analyzing and enhancing learning technologies and related business processes. You will proactively engage with our global business units, stakeholders, and learning leaders to understand business needs, to configure learning technology to support the needs, and to provide knowledge and insights on best practices.

You are a driver in the learning technology space, and you are comfortable in a dynamic environment. Adept at balancing multiple priorities, you are nimble and positive in responding to change. You are tenacious and curious about the impact of technology on learning, and you enjoy collaborating with others. You have a passion for understanding how learning fits into the greater organizational context and you constantly look for ways to add more value to support strategic goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the organization in configuring and using learning technologies

  • Facilitate system administration, including functionality configuration, system notifications, security, and access

  • Facilitate content administration, including uploading and managing content

  • Develop complex non-standard/custom reports and ad hoc analysis requests for stakeholders

  • Create, distribute, and maintain product reports

  • Resolve escalated support tickets and collaborate with other internal teams on support issues as needed

  • Facilitate the identification, documentation, and training of support teams on Level 1 support issues

  • Provide support for technical integrations and vendor escalations and resolutions

  • Assist with research, requirements gathering, and use case development

  • Assist with research and discovery of appropriate solutions for short and long-term business needs

  • Assist with design, development, testing (UAT & QA coordination), and deployment of new products or functionality

  • Assist with vendor escalations and resolutions as needed

  • Drive projects to timely completion with planning and forecasting, creative problem solving, delegation, communication, and influence

  • Cultivate relationships across the team

  • Keep up to date with innovative learning trends and technologies

  • Support additional learning projects as needed

Who You Are

  • You are experienced in providing exceptional technical support

  • You have Microsoft (MS) Office Suite knowledge and intermediate knowledge of MS Excel

  • You have subject matter knowledge in learning technology and industry trends and working knowledge of web & SaaS applications

  • You are able to communicate complex technical information to less technical users and in-depth business processes to technical resources

  • You are able to analyze and synthesize data

  • You are able to prioritize job responsibilities and execute plans based on guidance from team leaders

  • You are self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to frequent change, and able to balance competing priorities

  • You have outstanding organizational and time management skills

  • You are exceptionally detail oriented, but also capable of seeing the “big picture” view and thinking strategically

  • You like to learn and are curious

  • As our Learning & Development team supports our global organization, you will occasionally be required to work outside typical business hours to accommodate meetings across multiple time zones

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience working with learning management systems (LMS), preferably Cornerstone on Demand

  • Preferably you have experience in the Consulting/Professional Services industry
