Description
Robert Half Legal is partnering with a national boutique law firm that's hiring a Legal Assistant with at least 3-5+ years of experience working in a law firm to join their team. This Legal Administrative Assistant will join and assist attorneys who practice in securities litigation. This position is paying between $55-65K, DOE, plus bonus and full benefits.
Legal Assistant Responsibilities:
Provide legal administrative support to assigned attorneys.
Prepare letters, memos, pleadings and other documentation as required.
File pleadings (electronically or otherwise) with the appropriate court systems.
Docket dates into a central docketing system.
Make travel arrangements.
Prepare expense reimbursement documentation.
Enter conflict information into the system for the purpose of running conflict checks for new clients as well as preparation of supporting documentation.
Maintain an appropriate filing system for all attorney and client work.
Enter attorney time.

Requirements
3-5+ years of legal administrative experience supporting litigation attorneys
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
