Description We are providing an opportunity for a Legal Bookkeeper to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As a Legal Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for various bookkeeping and financial tasks, including account reconciliation, data entry, and handling accounts payable and receivable. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and maintain accounts payable and receivable
• Conduct regular account reconciliation activities
• Manage bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records
• Ensure accurate data entry of financial information
• Use Microsoft Excel for various financial operations
• Conduct month end close activities accurately and timely
• Efficiently use QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
• Carry out bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and transparency. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven experience with Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Strong Bookkeeping skills
• Proficient in Data Entry
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close processes
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
