Major responsibilities
Relay legal correspondence to clients in a clear way
Update schedule with client interactions
Provide support for several attorneys
Uphold calendars and billing sheets
Handle assigned files and deliver legal services under attorney supervision
Aid attorneys in the resolution of files in an effective and efficient manner
Apply specialized knowledge of legal procedures
Complete administrative tasks as necessary
Communicate effectively and efficiently over the phone with clients Requirements - Prowess with word processing and spreadsheets highly sought after
Able to manage time well
Understanding of and experience with legal correspondence and court filing procedures is a plus
Strong familiarity with Maintain Calendar
Comprehensive knowledge of e-Filing
Command of Preparing Pleadings
Solid knowledge / understanding of local jurisdictional and federal court rules and procedures
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Expertise in database management
