Major Global Law Firm has an opportunity for a Litigation Support Analyst to work with our “Technology Thinktank” team in our Chicago office. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to organizing, carrying out, directing and monitoring all technology-related activities associated with assigned client matters to achieve cost-effective, client-oriented outcomes. This group is a data science-driven professional services and software company that is a wholly owned subsidiary of this firm.

What you would do in this job:

• Manage all aspects of assigned projects utilizing project management principles, including needs assessments, communication plans and resource coordination.

• Manage relationships, both internally and externally, as a liaison between firm personnel and outside vendors.

• Consult with the case team on technical options and solution recommendations.

• Deliver project-specific services provided including consulting on data collection, ESI processing, database set-up and best practices.

• Define and manage custom solutions for specialized project needs.

• Oversee third party vendors regarding proposals, service quality, and communication coordination.

• Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of improved processes and procedures.

• Promote technology services within the firm and to clients.

• Maintain authoritative knowledge of the market and case law, including regular evaluation of pricing against external vendor pricing.

• Troubleshoot technical difficulties and resolve and/or escalate issues as needed.

• Special projects and duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience required; JD, EJD, MBA, MS or other graduate degree desirable.

• Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA), or the willingness to attain it within 6 months of hire required; must be current on all RCI credits. Project management certification preferred.

• 3+ years of experience as a litigation support professional, technology project manager, litigation paralegal or comparable experience.

• Demonstrated proficiency with litigation support, document review, imaging/image manipulation and/or trial technology software applications (i.e., Relativity, Adobe Professional, LAW, Nuix, etc.).

• Working knowledge of Electronic Discovery Reference Model EDRM) and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
