Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. MIS, Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree) required
8+ years of experience with strong emphasis on user interface design and web application development using Microsoft technologies
Experience working for a technology consulting firm or software product company is strongly preferred

architecture and development of enterprise scale, service oriented, distributed client solutions on the Microsoft .NET platform
managing the implementation of software development processes for clients
defining, documenting, and providing training on architectural standards and development best practices
scoping, estimating, and planning software development projects concerned with all aspects of the application development lifecycle
client presentations and training sessions to effectively estimate solutions and communicate risks
knowledge of software engineering concepts and methodologies related to the full application development lifecycle
*Expert skills in establishing methodologies, protocols, and driving standards into daily practice
*Ability to operate independently as needed but also lead large teams
*Experience working in a results-oriented environment with the ability to meet deliverable deadlines
*Strong knowledge of software development processes and best practices utilizing the .NET platform and other Microsoft development technologies including Azure Dev Ops, Team Foundation Server, and Azure
*Expertise developing medium-to-large scale, highly scalable distributed applications with cloud first approach (Azure or AWS)
*Experience designing, developing, and testing custom .NET applications as part of a software development cycle using an Agile development approach
*Expert understanding of Object Oriented design and implementation using C# and the .NET Framework and or .NET core
*Expert web development experience using with experience in both frontend and backend technologies
*Strong experience with developing RESTful APIs
*Experience developing databases on Microsoft SQL Server and NoSQL databases like MongoDB
*Expert understanding and experience in implementing QA procedures (automation, code review, estimating, acceptance criteria, etc.)
*Demonstrated ability to stay current with Application Architecture best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms, architectural and systems engineering industry trends
*Supervisory experience of teams including Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Managers
*Advanced project management and status reporting capabilities
Preferred Skills:
developing Microservices using Docker-based containers
developing cloud-based applications using Azure Service Fabric or Kubernetes
commercial software application development
** leveraging Microsoft’s suite of technologies for providing business intelligence solutions such as Microsoft SQL Server, Analysis Services, Integration Services, and Reporting Services as well as other 3rd party reporting suit
