Description

We are looking for an Online Community Manager to join our client's team for a long-term contract engagement. This is an opportunity to engage proactively with an online community, primarily focusing on managing and moderating social media platforms. The role involves strategic planning and tactical execution of community engagement initiatives, content management, and database handling.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage community engagements on various social media platforms such as Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

• Execute proactive engagements to create meaningful relationships with community members.

• Implement strategic plans and processes for community engagement based on a thorough understanding of brand awareness and community marketing.

• Utilize content management systems and databases for efficient community management.

• Monitor and respond to community threads and chats, ensuring a positive and interactive environment.

• Identify and engage with key community members, fostering a sense of ownership and belonging.

• Act as a mediator in the community, removing unsettling comments and maintaining a respectful and collaborative atmosphere.

• Analyze and report on community engagement metrics using tools like Facebook Insights.

• Handle customer support inquiries and provide solutions, maintaining a service-minded approach.

• Contribute to the development of new projects or concepts within the community management scope.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Content Management System (CMS) for managing online content

• Knowledge and experience with Database management and EO/IR systems

• Ability to utilize Facebook Insights and Instagram for community engagement and analytics

• Demonstrated skill in enhancing Brand Awareness through online platforms

• Experience in Community marketing for building and nurturing online communities

• Familiarity with Computer Hardware for troubleshooting and ensuring smooth operation of online platforms

• Excellent Documentation skills for maintaining records and reports

• Proficient in using the Internet for research, communication, and community management.

• Must be flexible to working across different time zones as needed.
