Description

Robert Half's Legal Division is immediately seeking a Commercial Real Estate and Corporate Paralegal to join oe of our dynamic and growing clients in the Chicago Loop. The role involves numerous duties such as drafting and filing business entity documents, providing support for corporate transactions, and performing due diligence for commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, among other tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, file, and manage various documents related to corporations, LLCs, and partnerships, such as articles of incorporation or dissolution, and stock certificates.

• Provide support for corporate transactions, including joint venture formations, dissolutions, and entity foreign qualifications.

• Conduct due diligence for commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions and coordinate transactions and work with the team to close these.

• Review title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys, and generate and respond to title and survey objections.

• Prepare organizational charts and maintain accurate records.

• Track transaction tasks, parties, and key dates, and communicate progress to the team as issues and tasks are resolved.

• Work with members of various teams on special projects and initiatives.

• Follow up on post-closing matters.

• Utilize strong computer skills, particularly with Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Exercise sound, independent judgment, and take initiative to accomplish objectives in a timely manner with moderate supervision.

Requirements

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in law or related field

• Minimum of five years of experience as a Paralegal

• Proficiency in Commercial Real Estate law

• Expertise in Corporate law

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong research and report-generating skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software

• Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail

• Capability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Ability to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously

• Proven ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
