Robert Half REMOTE Contracts Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Description If you are looking for a job that starts immediately, this Contracts Manager role through Robert Half may be a great fit for you. The Contracts Manager will work directly under the general counsel drafting, managing and negotiating contracts. As the Contracts Manager, the ideal candidate will be required to maintain vendor and subcontracts agreements, draft contracts, and manage and re-negotiate contracts when necessary. Contracts Manager candidates who are interested and experience in are encouraged to apply. This employment opportunity is 100% remote and the company is located in the Chicago, Illinois area.

How you will make an impact

  • Review external clients' contract terms to align with Company's risk tolerance, and red-line documents as required for compliance

  • Optimize and manage contract repositories

  • Manage contractual provisions and administer contract proposals

  • Provide overall support in contract administration functions for the coordination and oversight of requirements for compliance with the contract terms and conditions, along with relaying information to internal departments

  • Gather and organize contract templates; obtain signatures on contracts

  • Log and maintain contracts database

  • Evaluate and draft legal agreements (vendor agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements)

  • Classify internal and external requests on status of contracts

  • Intermediate and outsource contracts

  • Shephard the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution) Requirements - Less than one year of experience required

  • Bachelor's degree (JD and/or Paralegal certification preferred)

  • Deep understanding of Commercial Negotiations

  • SAAS experience desired

  • Contract negotiation experience

  • Applicant must be familiar with word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize tasks and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed

  • Special organizational skills to track and monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates and other contractual deadlines

  • Oversee the process for reviewing and drafting non-disclosure agreements, including software evaluation and licensing agreements

  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented

  • Organized in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Proficient with strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

  • Certified detail oriented Contract Manager (CPCM) certification, or equivalent
