Job Requisition:

We are currently seeking a Managing Vice President for Strategic Accounts Business Development team. This position will report directly to the Strategic Accounts Business Development Managing Director, who will provide overall direction regarding priorities, utilization of time, business development strategy support, and performance feedback.

Job Description :

The Managing Vice President in Strategic Accounts will be responsible for an individual target list, SA portfolio and managing a team of Business Development Vice Presidents, who are responsible for targeting, negotiating and launching newly acquired deals for the RH SA program. The incumbent is responsible for communicating, modeling, and upholding Robert Half’s corporate vision and values, reinforcing the importance of maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and ethics. The position reports directly to the Managing Director, Strategic Accounts.

The primary responsibilities for this role include the following:

  • Manage individual portfolio and SA BD VPs to their annual quota goals and KPIs.

  • Manage team’s overall target list to proactively sign new high potential accounts that fit within the Robert Half Strategic Accounts profile for all divisions.

  • Develop, oversee and implement the team’s internal and external roll out strategy that will position Robert Half to scale accounts to $1M+ in net new revenue within the first year of signature.

  • Develop, oversee and execute the team’s revenue growth strategy in collaboration with the SA Account Management team for the first 12 months post signature. The revenue growth strategy will include expansion of LOB’s, Geographies, Protiviti and M-Suite services.

  • Collaborate with field management and Protiviti for the geographies the team covers to analyze opportunities to target and pursue to maximize revenue for the enterprise.

  • Collaborate with contract attorneys and all dedicated Strategic Accounts support teams at Corporate.

  • Manage hand-off strategy for the team of new accounts after 12 months to Account Management Vice Presidents utilizing Microsoft Teams/STAMP/Creating Value strategies.

  • Engage with clients considering implementing a VMS/MSP and encourage the use of self-managed VMS tools and/or friendly MSP’s to manage their temporary and permanent placement spend.

  • Engage with MSP opportunities that fit the Robert Half pricing and client contact profile.

  • Participating in nonprofit boards and networking with our alliances.


  • 8+ years experience of relevant experience, with a proven track record of success in staffing and professional services.

  • Prior experience as a Robert Half Strategic Accounts VP or VP highly desired.

  • Experience with developing relationships with C-suite level management required.

  • Proven ability to self-generate business development opportunities through a diverse combination of calling, emailing and networking.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large business opportunities ($1M+) to a successful close.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to collaborate across the organization.

  • Proven ability to successfully conduct large and small group presentations.

  • Up to 25% domestic travel may be required

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferred
