Job Description:

The Senior, Joint Venture Accounting works on the monthly and quarterly close process specifically related to accounting for our joint venture portfolio. This includes the preparation of journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, SEC reporting submissions, financial statement analytics, and assistance with budgeting and forecasting. This individual will work closely with all areas of corporate accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, and Asset Management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.

  • Prepare analytics over significant account balances and joint venture financial statements.

  • Prepare data inputs for the reporting of JV EBITDA.

  • Prepare quarterly external reporting schedules.

  • Identify and implement projects to improve and automate accounting processes.

  • Assist with various monthly forecast and annual budget processes.

  • Field and resolve inquiries from management, other departments within the company, and external auditors.

    Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or equivalent business/financial role

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

  • Certified Public Accountant

  • Financial ERP systems (Oracle and Hyperion)
