Responsibilities
Perform tasks as part of the monthly close process, including preparing or posting journal entries, monitoring sub-ledger interfaces, and ensuring the timely analysis, preparation, and submission of close-related deliverables.
Maintain monthly, interim, and annual support ensuring compliance with various corporate financial policies and procedures.
Reconcile foreign intercompany accounts, and review of USD conversion transactions.
Produce financial analysis on assigned accounts; plan-to-actual and period vs period reports and prepare narrative explaining the financial statements.
Prepare accurate and auditable complex and/or significant audit workpapers for internal and external customers.
Perform advanced accounting and financial analyses primarily related to long-term debt, investments, and derivatives.
Exercise analytical skills in performing responsibilities and preparing deliverables.
Other projects/duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
BA/BS in Accounting or Business required, and CPA preferred.
3+ years of progressive experience within public/private sectors.
Strong Excel and other MS Office Skills.
Self-motivated, initiative-taking accounting professional, able to think independently.
Ability to prioritize and multitasks successfully, while paying close attention to details.
A commitment to timely task completion with tight deadlines.
Ability to build relationships across multiple teams to foster collaboration.
