  • Execute the day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the Finance Department for their designated restaurant entities, including accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, payroll, taxes, budgeting & forecasting, prepaids & accruals, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, debt, and equity

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, QTD, and YTD financial statements and reports including, but not limited to, balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow statements, budget-to-actual variance analyses, and calculation of key performance indicators

  • Responsible for treasury management, including the maintenance and reconciliation of restaurant-level and corporate bank accounts, safes, and cash forecasting

  • Collaborate and meet with restaurant and corporate Management every period to discuss financial performance against operating metrics, budgets, and goals

  • Timely filing and payment of State and Local tax obligations, and support preparation of annual tax documents by providing required information to external tax accountants

  • Provide financial analyses as needed, including but not limited to, capital planning, pricing decisions, COGS, labor patterns, inventory variances, and vendor contracts

  • Provide management with information vital to the decision-making process

  • Perform special projects as required to assist the Department and the Company in achieving its goals and objectives.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required

  • Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in accounting

  • Multi-unit restaurant/hospitality or retail accounting experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent computer skills, and advanced proficiency with accounting and reporting systems and tools such as QuickBooks, MS Excel, and Compeat

  • Working knowledge of financial statements and budgets/forecasts

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a broad range of audiences including executive leadership team and restaurant operators

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with evolving processes

  • Attention to detail, and a dedication to providing a high-quality work product

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, follow through on issues promptly, and meet reasonable routine deadlines

  • Exercise professional skepticism regarding transactional data

  • Systems implementation experience preferred, but not required

  • Ability to be resourceful and independent in solving problems

  • Manage confidential information with a high degree of integrity
