Job Description
We are looking for a Manager, Taxation, who will assist with the tax compliance and tax reporting process. The tax team oversees all tax functions, including tax compliance, tax provision, income and sales tax audits across multiple jurisdictions. The role will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Taxation.
Responsibilities
Preparation and review of quarterly tax provisions;
Liaise with and assist external tax advisors on tax compliance;
Preparation and review of information returns and various tax forms as required;
Assist on income and sales tax audits as required;
Assist on ad hoc requests, tax research and special projects;
Liaise with all finance teams to ensure an effective communication process; and
Build positive relationships with finance teams and demonstrate effective partnership and collaboration throughout the organization.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
CPA, CA designation or international equivalent;
In-depth knowledge of US taxation;
Minimum 5+ years of industry and/or public tax experience;
Exposure to taxation in foreign jurisdictions is an asset;
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide written and verbal communications relevant to the user;
Excellent attention to detail and consistently high levels of accuracy;
Proven experience building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships and promoting collaboration within and across teams
Strong impact and influencing skills, ability to influence people with personal style
Outgoing personality that will work well in a fast-paced team environment; and
Proficient in excel.
